INGREDIENTS

3 Cups All-Purpose Flour

3 TBSP Baking Powder

1½ TBSP Granulated Sugar

2½ teaspoon Salt

8 Tablespoons cold, unsalted Kerrygold Butter

¾ Cup Whole Milk

¾ Cup Buttermilk

DIRECTIONS

Sift Dry ingredients into mixing bowl.

Cut butter into pats, add butter and dry ingredients to food processor and pulse until it looks like rough crumbs. You can also use a fork to cut butter into dough in the mixing bowl if necessary.

Place mixture in bowl to add milk, stir with a fork forming a rough ball.

Turn the dough out onto a well-floured surface.

Pat down dough until about ½ inch thick. Now fold it over and repeat several times gently. This helps to form layers.

Cover loosely and allow to rest 25-30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 425.

Pat out dough into a 12" x 12" slab. Being careful not to crimp the edges use either a biscuit cutter or a knife to cut out the biscuits. Crimping the edges will prevent proper rising.

Place biscuits on a lined cookie sheet and bake 11 to 14 minutes, until golden brown.

Serve hot with fresh honey butter. Or your favorite gravy.
